From 18 to 22 June, we organised Velo-city 2024 in Ghent, the leading international conference dedicated to sustainable mobility and cycling culture. With over 1,600 participants, dozens of inspiring sessions and activities, and a unique collaboration with local partners such as the City of Ghent and the Fietsambassade, this event once again showcased Event Masters’ expertise as a professional conference organiser.

In the heart of Ghent, innovative cycling brands and mobility companies showcased the latest technologies and products, from smart bike locks and electric cargo bikes to sustainable accessories. - Community Bike Ride:
Over 3,000 participants joined a vibrant bike ride through Ghent, following the city’s key cycling routes. A true crowd-pleaser that highlighted the power of a shared cycling culture. - Networking event for policymakers and experts:
Event Masters hosted an exclusive networking event for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and mobility experts, creating opportunities to discuss future bike-friendly initiatives in Ghent and beyond.
Impact & recognition
Thanks to seamless organisation and close collaboration with local partners, Velo-city 2024 was a resounding success. The event not only attracted a diverse audience but also underlined the societal value of sustainable mobility.
As a crowning achievement, Event Masters received a BEA Award in the category Institutional Events for this project – a recognition we are immensely proud of.
