From 5 to 8 June 2024, the DCD15-IMDRC6 took place in Ghent, an international conference on Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), also known as dyspraxia. The event was organised by Event Masters in collaboration with the International Motor Development Research Consortium and the International Society for Research and Advocacy for DCD.
Under the theme “Thinking Outside the Box,” the conference brought together scientists, therapists, teachers, and families. Over the course of four days, they shared the latest insights and knowledge on motor development and neurodiverse disorders. In addition to keynote lectures and interactive workshops, there was also room for the exchange of personal experiences and research, with the aim of improving the quality of life for people with DCD.
