Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport

At Event Masters, we are extremely proud of our ability to organise events that truly make an impact. Our recent collaboration with the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport showcases what we have to offer. Over the past months, we have successfully organised seven top-tier events, demonstrating all our Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) skills, teamwork, tight organisation, and collaboration with security services. It was an intense co-creation process, with a particularly high V(V)IP presence, filled with multidisciplinary meetings and initiatives.

The Road Control Summit | 23 February 2024

On 23 February 2024, our PCO team organised the Road Control Summit at the beautiful Egmont Palace in Brussels. This top conference addressed critical issues such as road control, social dumping, and unfair competition within the transport sector. The event brought together ministers, officials, and industry experts to promote policy development and international cooperation. Highlights included speeches by the Belgian Minister of Mobility, Georges Gilkinet, who emphasised the importance of this event for driving change in the sector.

“I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and congratulations to your team for the support and expertise you provided during the organization of this event. It was a pleasure to work with you and I wish to thank you for the professional and positive cooperation. Through good teamwork and by utilizing your knowledge, skills, and efforts, we managed to make a success story out of the event. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend your organization to third parties.” – Bart Musch, Attaché at the Federal Public Service for Mobility & Transport

Brussels Conference on Seafarers’ Wellbeing | 8 March 2024

The Brussels Conference on Seafarers’ Wellbeing, held on International Women’s Day, was a successful achievement. Hosted by the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport as part of BELEU24, the Event Masters PCO team played a crucial role in ensuring flawless organisation. The conference highlighted the importance of gender inclusivity and equality in the maritime sector, reaffirming our commitment to shaping a brighter and more inclusive future for seafarers.

“I thank the tireless, proactive, and client-first attitude of all the persons at Event Masters that were involved. Special thanks go out to those three who were the most crucial: Nathalie Troch, Elke Spiessens, and Dag Thielemans. Your professionalism, creativity, and problem-solving skills exceeded our expectations and were of tremendous assistance in the preparation and organization of the two ministerial-level events.” – Peter Claeyssens, Director-General DG Shipping

EU Stakeholders Meeting | 18 March 2024

The EU Stakeholders Meeting (EU dialogue on end-of-life recreational craft) took place on 18 March 2024 at the iconic Egmont Palace in Brussels. This meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss urgent issues within the European Union, focusing on the challenges of end-of-life vessels.

Informal Council | 3 & 4 April 2024

Our PCO team had the honour of organising the Informal Council for the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport at the Egmont Palace as part of BELEU24 on 3 and 4 April 2024. This groundbreaking meeting focused on a sustainable and innovative future for mobility in Europe. With 26 ministers and 33 delegation heads on the first day, and 43 on the second day, this was a significant step towards better cooperation between EU member states and European commissioners. The signing of the Bicycle Declaration was a highlight and paved the way for further discussions on sustainable mobility at the Velo-city Conference. Needless to say, Event Masters – aside from its (pre-)production and event expertise – also had to manage stringent security measures for these V(V)IPs.

High-Level Aviation Conference | 9 April 2024

The High-Level Aviation Conference, held on 9 April 2024 at the Residence Palace, addressed the challenges of sustainable air transport. Organised as part of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2024, the conference brought together 200 participants, including policymakers, international stakeholders, and representatives from the International Civil Aviation Organization.

High-Level U-SPACE Conference | 10 April 2024

With the rise of drones in our airspace, the High-Level U-SPACE Conference, on 10 April 2024 at the Havenhuis, focused on the opportunities and challenges of this new landscape. Under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2024, developers and policymakers from Belgium and abroad gathered for lively discussions, knowledge sharing, and charting a common path forward. This conference laid the groundwork for a safe and innovative future in aviation.

“Your professionalism and flexibility were instrumental in the success of these two days. The feedback from speakers and participants regarding the practical organization of these events has been unanimously positive.” – Koen Milis, Director General

Transporting the Future | 6 June 2024

On 6 June 2024, Event Masters brought the “Transporting the Future” event to life for the Chairwoman at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels, including a special tour of the Magritte Museum. Developers and policymakers came together to explore the future of autonomous transport and technological innovations. This event, our seventh and final project with the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport, was a splendid conclusion to an equally splendid collaboration.

“Your team’s attention to detail and proactive approach to every aspect of the events were evident from the start. The smooth execution of both conferences significantly contributed to their success, and we are grateful for the professionalism and enthusiasm shown by the Event Masters team throughout the entire process.” – Anne-Sophie Cosyns, Project Leader EU 2024 in the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport

We look forward to taking on new challenges and creating even more impactful events in the coming years. At Event Masters, we remain committed to excellence, innovation, and impact.
