A jubilee edition to remember: Event Masters delivers the Travel Awards Gala 2025
On Friday 21 November 2025, the 25th edition of the Travel Awards Gala took place in the iconic Skyhall at Brussels Airport. This milestone edition aimed to be more than just an award ceremony — and that is precisely why TRAVelMedia BeLux once again chose Event Masters as its strategic event partner. Our team was responsible for the full event production, including technical direction, scenography, showflow design and partner coordination.
With 1,000 travel professionals, 36 prestigious awards, a gastronomic three-course dinner and several deeply emotional highlights, the Travel Awards 2025 became one of the defining moments of the Belgian travel industry.
An award show that moves, inspires and surprises
Event Masters designed a dynamic 360° showflow, where pacing, suspense and storytelling took centre stage. Every nomination built towards a climax, supported by powerful visual content and uplifting live entertainment. Combined with a high-end culinary experience, the result was a truly premium event from start to finish.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the presentation of the 36 Travel Awards, celebrating the companies and professionals who shaped the Belgian travel sector over the past year. The tension in the room was palpable with every announcement.
A particularly memorable moment was the farewell to Jan Peeters, who passed the torch to Bart Mathys and the dedicated TRAVelMedia BeLux team. Accompanied by Rising by Natalia, Jan’s daughter delivered an emotional tribute, followed by a standing ovation from all 1,000 attendees — a heartfelt recognition of more than four decades of passion and innovation.
