Group Event Masters earns EcoVadis Silver Medal with a score of 81/100
Group Event Masters has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal following the latest assessment of Event Masters NV (Group). With an overall score of 81/100, we rank among the top 6% of companies in the EcoVadis comparison group. This achievement has earned us an EcoVadis Silver Medal.
At Group Event Masters, we believe that creating impact goes beyond what happens on the day of an event, team building activity or conference. It also comes down to the choices we make behind the scenes, how we treat our people and partners, and the responsibility we take as an organisation. We sum this up in two words: We Care.
But commitment alone is not enough. We also want to understand where we truly stand today, measure our progress and continuously identify opportunities for improvement. That’s why we have our sustainability efforts independently assessed by EcoVadis.
A broader perspective on sustainability
EcoVadis assesses companies on more than just their environmental efforts. Its assessment evaluates an organisation’s sustainability management across four key areas. For Group Event Masters, this resulted in:
– Environment: 85/100
– Labour & Human Rights: 82/100
– Ethics: 84/100
– Sustainable Procurement: 72/100
Together, these results give us an overall score of 81/100, placing us in the 94th percentile. In other words, based on our score, we rank among the top 6% of companies in our comparison group. This achievement earned us an EcoVadis Silver Medal, awarded to companies ranking among the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the twelve months preceding the award.
Turning policies into concrete action
Behind these figures lie numerous policy decisions and concrete initiatives.
With 85/100, Environment is our highest-scoring category. Our environmental policies received a score of 100/100 in the assessment, covering areas such as energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and customer health and safety.
EcoVadis also recognises several measures we have already implemented, including purchasing and/or generating renewable energy, reducing energy consumption, reusing materials and IT hardware, offering plant-based food options, and introducing initiatives to replace single-use plastics with reusable alternatives.

In Labour & Human Rights, where we achieved a score of 82/100, our policies were also rated 100/100. These cover areas such as working conditions, health and safety, training and career development, and the prevention of discrimination and harassment. In Ethics, we scored 84/100. Once again, our policies received 100/100, reflecting our approach to issues such as corruption and fraud, conflicts of interest and data security.
A recognition and a starting point
The EcoVadis Silver Medal is not our only recognition. With our Travelife and CERTA Green certifications, we are also taking steps towards greater sustainability within the travel and events industry. Together, these recognitions highlight our commitment to making responsible business practices an increasingly integral part of our operations. This commitment is closely connected to Group Event Masters’ three core values: WE CARE, WE LIVE and WE MASTER.
Through WE CARE, we take responsibility for our people, partners and the world around us. WE LIVE represents the passion and energy we bring to creating experiences every day, while WE MASTER reflects our ambition to continuously develop our expertise and keep improving in everything we do.
The EcoVadis assessment provides valuable insights that help us put these values into practice. By making more conscious choices, critically evaluating our approach and implementing concrete improvements, we continue to build an organisation that not only creates powerful experiences but does so in an increasingly responsible way.
Not the finish line, but the next step
The Silver Medal is certainly an achievement worth celebrating. At the same time, we see our score of 81/100 primarily as a new benchmark. Our next step is to turn the insights from the assessment into action and further strengthen our approach. This will help us ensure that our progress remains not only visible but also measurable.
Because for us, sustainability is never a finished story. It’s an ongoing commitment that we continue to work on as an organisation. We are incredibly proud of this Silver Medal and look forward to building on this achievement.
