Event Masters and Kompanjon npo

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Kompanjon npo! We’ve been searching for a CSR project that truly aligns with our values, and this is it. From now on, Event Masters will be a structural partner of Kompanjon npo. We’ll support them financially and also assist in organising their own events, fundraising dinners, etc. Moreover, we’ll integrate this partnership into our collaboration with our clients. For every event we organise in the future, a contribution will be made towards the operations of Kompanjon npo, thereby creating a lasting positive impact on society! Organising an event with Event Masters means you’re automatically supporting this fantastic nonprofit.

Who is Kompanjon npo?

They are a young, growing organisation that connects students with socially vulnerable families to provide study support. This gives us the opportunity to make a real difference, something we are fully committed to.

Our team is incredibly excited about Kompanjon’s vision and approach. Together, we aim to have a sustainable, positive impact on children, families, schools, and students. As Katelijne, the coordinator of Kompanjon, says: “We are thrilled to be partnering with a company like Event Masters. We see a team of employees who are socially engaged, and who are open and enthusiastic towards us. We’ve already had several meetings together, and the positive vibe is always noticeable. That fits well with Kompanjon as we are also a driven team.

We got to know each other much better at the two parties we organised together in Antwerp and Ghent for the children, parents, and students we worked with this year. We are good at organising parties, but with Event Masters involved, everything just had that extra bit. The staff brought original games, baked hundreds of pancakes, and introduced the children to virtual reality glasses. As the icing on the cake, we all enjoyed ‘Boomtime’, a perfect way to add extra colour and sound to our 15th anniversary. We look forward to further collaboration!”

Kompanjon npo was honoured with the Queen Paola Prize 2024 earlier this month. This award recognises projects that reduce inequality among young people and promote fair chances of success. This underscores the valuable work that Kompanjon does, and we are proud to support them in their mission.

Velo-city Conference 2024

From 18 to 21 June, the Velo-city 2024 took place in Ghent, bringing together over 1,600 cycling enthusiasts, experts, and innovators from around the world. The conference was held in the stunning Floraliënhal and Kuipke, providing the perfect setting for a variety of activities. There were 370 speakers sharing their expertise on topics such as urban cycling infrastructure, sustainable transport solutions, and the latest technological developments in the cycling world.

Besides the informative sessions, there was an extensive exhibition with 60 stands spread across a 15,000m2 space, where participants could discover the latest innovations in cycling, network with industry experts, and draw inspiration from the many products and services presented.

One of the highlights of Velo-city 2024 was the impressive bike ride through the streets of Ghent, with no less than 3000 participants. The Après Bike party on Wednesday evening at Vrijdagmarkt was a memorable event, featuring performances by the Ghent DJ School, Oriana Ikomo, and NAFT, creating a fantastic atmosphere and a great evening.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful PCO team, production team, our partners, and the crew who contributed to the success of Velo-city 2024.

Our first events at the Proximus Basecamp with RBFA Experiences

On the 21st and 22nd of June 2024, we hosted our inaugural events at Proximus Basecamp with RBFA Experiences, starting off with two major, consecutive events, which fully utilised the in- & outdoor facilities at this unique location.

The first event kicked off on June 21st. It was a sporty blend of plenary sessions, inspiring keynotes by former Belgian Cat Ann Wauters, 6 diverse team-building activities, an awards show—with a private guided tour of the legendary site for the winners—and a lively after-party. There was no time for rest, as the very next day, DELA held a Family Day for their brokers and families. Activities such as bouncy castles, petanque courts, football rodeo, a kids’ corner, and guided tours of the Red Devils’ facilities made for a fun and interactive day.

These events showcased the versatility of the Proximus Basecamp: from the indoor hall and the Clubhouse to the Red Corner and the football fields. The location provided the perfect backdrop for both events, making them a huge success. Thanks to the over 1,000 participants for their enthusiasm!

We look forward to more successful events at this special venue!

45 teambuildings in one month? Yes, we can!

In June, we went through a true marathon of teambuildings. Last month, we organised an impressive 45 events, ranging from small sessions for 5 people to large-scale gatherings for as many as 500 participants. This month was a shining example of how diverse our team-building sessions can be.

Our teambuildings brought together the most varied teams. From the popular ‘Beat the Boxes’, where participants had to solve puzzles and riddles to unlock sealed cases, to the thrilling ‘Chain Reaction’, where precision and teamwork were crucial. Customised team-buildings were also part of the lineup. The enthusiasm of the participants was contagious and created a fantastic atmosphere.

We organised team-buildings of various sizes and, despite the changing weather conditions—from rain and wind to bright sunshine—all events were a great success. No matter the weather or size of the group, you can always count on us!

Not only our Teambuilding department, but also colleagues from other departments have rolled up their sleeves to support all these team-buildings. It was truly teamwork during these team-buildings!

Exquisite dinner at Villers Abbey

Event Masters organised an exclusive dinner for Proximus at the beautiful Villers Abbey for 34 invitees and their partners. The evening began with presentations full of strategic insights, followed by a historical tour of the abbey. Live artists provided relaxing background music, perfectly blending with the ambiance of the location and the beautiful weather.

Not one, but two CERTA Certificates!

We are extremely proud to announce that Event Masters is the first MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events / Exhibitions) agency to achieve the CERTA label! When Minister David Clarinval and State Secretary Alexia Bertrand presented us with the CERTA label, we received a wonderful surprise: we also received the CERTA Green label! An unexpected, but splendid recognition of our sustainability efforts.

The CERTA label is designed for companies that market travel, such as travel agencies and tour operators. It requires adherence to strict administrative and legal standards and a focus on quality, ongoing training, digitalization, and sustainability.

“This CERTA label is a particularly fine achievement for your federation and the sector in general. With this label, companies demonstrate their willingness to distinguish themselves and actively communicate their commitment to their customers. Information is important and plays a key role in any free-market economy!” stated Minister David Clarinval.

We are incredibly proud to be one of the 26 companies to have received this certificate. Super proud of our team!

Happy Client Quote

Both the Brussels Conference on the Wellbeing of Seafarers on March 8, 2024 and the EU Dialogue on End-of-life Recreational Craft on March 18, 2024 which took place in the historic Egmont Palace in Brussels, were a resounding success. I thank the tireless, proactive and client-first attitude of all the persons at Event Masters that were involved. Special thanks go out to those three that were the most crucial: Nathalie Troch, Elke Spiessens and Dag Thielemans. Your professionalism, creativity, and problem-solving skills exceeded our expectations and were of tremendous assistance in the preparation and organization of the two events of Ministerial level.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and congratulations to your team for the support and expertise you provided during the organization of this event. It was a pleasure to work with you and I wish to thank you
